Wonderful Weekend in the ATL

I had a super fun weekend hanging our with my bff, Stephanie! Our time together is, as always, too short but we always manage to make the best of it. We shopped around at Lenox and dined at our usual Taco Bell hotspot. We also had dinner at Truett's where I ate way too much. Never did I think I could have Diet Dr. Pepper in a glass with a Chic-fil-a chicken sandwich, a side of green beans and mac-n-cheese! It was all so good!

After a sad departure and five hour drive I was welcomed home by my little family; Michael, Holly, Penny, Beebee and Ceecee. I guess I should say big family, huh?

After a quick shower we were off to Callaghan's to watch Col. Bruce Hampton. I had their Irish (french) dip, which was amazing! Michael had their award-winning bacon cheeseburger and it was equally amazing. This post has made me incredibly hungry - time for dinner!

Resolutions

One of my new year's resolutions is to save more money and really test myself on the difference between needs and wants. I'm at Stephanie's house and we have had a great time chatting...and cruise planning (need!) and looking up fun ways to tell people fun news. No news to share, just mental notes for the future.

I also plan to start blogging more this year. Time goes by so fast these days it's hard to keep track of all the wonderful memories!

We painted the night away at Paint Party Studios. The paint party was so much fun! Thank you everyone for coming making my 27th birthday the best one yet. I had a great time :)

Dexter

Michael and I finished all of season five of Dexter last night. I miss it already! Netflix can really spoil you by letting you watch episode after episode. Maybe we shouldn't have cracked out on it by watching an entire season in one day. Hurry up season six!

Merry Christmas

It was a merry Nikon Christmas in the Wilkins/Williams household today. Michael's mom, sister and I all got Nikon D5000 DSLR cameras! Well, I've had mine for about a week now. Michael got it for me and I think he was a bit too excited to wait for Christmas for me to have it. I'm already thinking of fantastic places to travel for some great photography. Hopefully a Yellowstone trip is in my near future :)



Michael's s family came to stay with us for Christmas. We had a great time hosting the holidays.

I can see a many of plants, potting soil and mulch bringing brought home on the new cargo carrier this spring. Spring, can't wait for spring!

Toby and Lilly LOVE to open presents. Hopefully they can teach Penny and Holly soon.

Bear Creek

Bear Creek was a ton of fun last weekend, and not to mention cold at night. Michael, Jeremy, Star, Patrick, Sam and I enjoyed some good food, good music and good day time weather.

Counter tops, hardwood floors and backspash - OH MY!

Home renovations are officially underway. The counter tops are put in, boy was it nice to watch someone do the labor for us for once. I love them! For the floors we went with 5-inch Brazilian walnut planks and they are to die for. Goodbye carpet!
